2026 State of the City
Join us for the 2026 State of the City Address on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM at the Allan Hancock College Boyd Concert Hall.
Hosted by the Santa Maria Valley Chamber in partnership with the City of Santa Maria, this annual event brings together business leaders, community members, elected officials, and residents for an important conversation about the future of our city.
This year’s theme, “From Vision to Action,” will highlight the progress, partnerships, and projects shaping Santa Maria’s future while focusing on how ideas and long-term planning are turning into meaningful action throughout the community.
The program will feature updates from City leadership on key initiatives, economic development, public safety, infrastructure, community priorities, and Santa Maria’s long-term vision. Additional program details and speaker announcements will be shared soon.
The evening will conclude with a networking reception featuring appetizers and refreshments.

6:00 PM – Networking Reception
Spanish interpretation services will be available.
