SANTA MARIA, CA — Are you looking for a way to give back but aren't sure where to start?
Community Partners in Caring and the City of Santa Maria invites the public to the Santa Maria Valley Volunteer Fair on Saturday, April 19th, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Town Center Mall in the Upper Regal Mezzanine.
This free community event is designed to bridge the gap between passionate residents and local organizations in need of support. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives from a diverse range of nonprofits, allowing them to explore various causes and find the perfect fit for their skills and schedule.
Whether you are interested in helping animals, supporting seniors, mentoring children, or preserving nature, the fair will showcase a wide variety of opportunities to volunteer. From one-time event help to ongoing weekly commitments, there is a capacity for everyone to make a difference.
"Many people want to help their neighbors and community, but feel overwhelmed by the options or don't know who to call" said Midge Nicosia, event organizer. "This event will have many options to choose from in one room, making it easy to discover exactly where your talents are needed most."
